Inveraray has some of the finest onshore facilities in Argyll and Bute with hotels, shops, restaurants, cash points (ATMs), taxi service, access to public transport, service station, chemist shop and supermarkets. There are local visitor attractions at Inveraray Castle, Inveraray Jail, art studios, musical entertainment venues and a host of fine award-winning eateries around The Royal Burgh of Inveraray.       Rudha-na-Craige (pronounced RooA-na-Craige) is a beautiful Victorian house on the banks of Loch Fyne.  Built in 1863 by the Duke of Argyll and the ancestral home of the current Duke of Argyll.  Rudha-na-Craige was also requisitioned by the Admiralty during the war years when the area was used for naval training adding to its rich history.
