    Alistair Rodden provided an overview.
  3. Fundraising
    Valentine’s raffle, tickets still available, £1 each from Oh Sugar, Beauty Bee, Tipsy Laird & Co-op.

  2. Defibrillator in phone box – Linda to take forward
  3. Cllr Philand advised that Argyll & Bute Council are still running a consultation on Education – Empowering our Educators and that we should respond.
  • Linda suggested that a shed be placed on the swing park for use by the youth of Inveraray, this would become their space to decide what they want it to look like.
  1. Bill Nelson, First Aid 4 Gambia has replaced the pads in the defibrillator at the Barn Brae and the Shinty Club, Linda thanked him for this work.
  2. Donald McDonald has arranged for further work on the pier, cleaning out and replacing of grouting.
  3. Jacqueline Kerr asked if lights could be added to the top section of the Avenue, Aly advised that we are in the process of arranging a survey and applying for grants for this.
  • Sandra Naisby advised that the street lighting is out of sync, lights are lit during the day and out at night – Dougie Philand will enquire with the council.
  • Residents who live in the area where RCE are applying to instal a windfarm explained that they have accepted that there will be a wind farm in some shape or form they believe that Inveraray should benefit financially, to a large degree, from the windfarm. Linda explained that Geaspar Byrne owns the pier and has agreed to sell it to Inspire Inveraray for £55,000.  Ridge Clean Energy (RCE) are helping Inspire and the Community Council to apply for grants to raise funds to buy the pier, they have not donated any money to Inveraray.
