Inspire Inveraray Summer Updates:
We have had an exciting June at Inspire Inveraray. The month began with a directors meeting to welcome Inspire Inveraray’s new Administrative Pier Project Development Officer to the team, and we are closing out the month with beautiful weather and a number of updates on our projects.
The Pier:
We are thrilled to inform you that the pier sale is in the final stages. Inspire Inveraray will be the proud owners of the Historic Inveraray Pier in mid-July! The final signatures are currently being processed. As soon as that happens, we can begin restoring and developing the Pier into a usable community asset.
Along with the countless meetings and emails with solicitors to finalise the sale, members of Inspire Inveraray and the Community Council have been meeting with representatives from Argyll and Bute Council to discuss additional public amenities surrounding the Pier and how Inveraray can partner with the council to best serve the local community and the people who will use the Pier when it reopens.
